From the start, A＋festival has been worked with culture and arts for happier lives of the disabled through providing a place that both disabled and non-disabled can realize cultural and artistic enjoyment and creative activities together.
A+ includes various meanings that start with A. First A stands for “Ability” which means the potential capability of disability art, Second open approach as “Accessibility”, the third is “Activity” of lively dynamism and lastly, through combining this all, A+ is making progress toward the goal which is “All together”
The theme of 2020 is “confront,” which means “facing with disability art, boundaries and differences.” It also connotes the fear and excitement about new things, misunderstanding and truth about prejudice, and overcoming wounds.
Many things have changed from offline to online events due to COVID-19.
